SDG 6.3.2 Preventing water system pollution

To manage waste that could cause environmental pollution and to prevent pollution incidents, the University has established the Waste Management Procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The General Affairs Section is responsible for the management, disposal, and recycling of general (domestic) waste. The Environmental Safety Center handles the removal, treatment, and online reporting of laboratory waste, including waste liquids.
The University has also issued a notice that sets out common requirements for handling laboratory waste liquids, which all laboratories are to follow in order to avoid accidents and pollution incidents.
In academic year 113 (2024–2025), 8.23 tons of waste liquid was produced.
