Chung Yuan Christian University has established a “Gender Equity Education Committee” that convenes at least once per semester. This committee is responsible for coordinating and promoting gender equity education, as well as overseeing the investigation, deliberation, and resolution of gender-related incidents. In accordance with internal regulations, it implements educational training on sexual harassment prevention, manages grievance procedures, and facilitates necessary counseling referrals to safeguard the rights and personal dignity of the individuals involved.
Regarding operational mechanisms, the university fosters collaboration between relevant administrative units and the Gender Equity Education Committee to advance gender equity education, sexual harassment prevention, and initiatives for a welcoming campus environment. Through educational training, campus-wide awareness campaigns, grievance handling, and follow-up procedures, the university strengthens mechanisms for rights protection and prevention.
The university will continue to review its policies and implementation measures based on actual needs, aiming to deepen a campus culture rooted in respect for diversity, equal treatment, safety, and inclusivity. It seeks to progressively enhance the awareness and practice of a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and humane environment among faculty, staff, and students.
