SDG 11.2.3 Public access to museums

Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU) continues to uphold its core value of Holistic Education, which emphasizes building character through Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. The CYCU Art Center was established in August 2005 as an exhibition space for art and handicraft works.
The Center is free and open to the public, and it accepts group reservations for guided tours, including on-campus course groups, high schools, elementary schools, and community clubs. It has hosted many major exhibitions to date.

The CYCU History Museum is divided into Tu Hsin Hall and Li Hsing Hall, echoing the University’s motto. Professor Chih Feng Lin, an alumnus of the Department of Interior Design, assisted with the overall design. Using a variety of display methods, the museum presents how holistic education (All-Around Education) has developed and been put into practice in different periods, and it helps pass that educational tradition on.
