About Our Program
Our team’s curriculum focuses on introducing programming logic, the core concept of learning to code, to the local community. By integrating this with gaming concepts, we combine teaching programming logic with game creation and gaming competitions to spark students’ interest.
Furthermore, to help the local community connect with international advancements and bridge the digital divide, our curriculum this year incorporates new information technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, and virtual reality (VR). We hope this course will enable local students to understand the latest IT trends and inspire them to envision more possibilities for their future.
Our Initiatives
Leveraging their IT expertise, our volunteers travel to Khon Kaen, Thailand, to teach students the latest in information technology. We design tailored educational software and curricula specifically for local students. Through continuous meetings and revisions of teaching materials, our goal is to provide a high-quality learning experience.
This year marks the sixth anniversary of ” Wandering in Thailand/Bangkok ” (泰空曼遊), our initiative that offers five distinct IT courses: Baltie, App Inventor, VR-Unity3D, Arduino Flight Simulators, and Flexsim, making them suitable for students of all ages.
This year, our team served eight schools in Khon Kaen, teaching 621 local teachers and students – a 25% increase from last year’s service numbers. Grasping concepts like the Internet of Things (IoT) and new technologies in just six hours isn’t easy for most, especially for children in remote areas of a foreign country. Yet, they embraced the challenge and truly succeeded! We believe that by providing fundamental programming concepts, we’re not only opening the door to information technology for these local students but also significantly enhancing their future competitiveness. We hope to continue building new bridges and connecting local students and teachers with emerging technological trends in the future.
