To implement the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in teaching and research, University social responsibility, international connections, and institutional governance, our University officially initiated an organizational restructuring project in August 2023. 

This project aims to promote a specialized unit for sustainable campus initiatives. The original first-level administrative unit, the “Office of Academic Research and Strategy,” was renamed as the “Office of Academic Research and Sustainable Development,” and a new second-level administrative unit, the “Sustainable Governance Office,” was established, incorporating the “Office of University Social Responsibility Promotion.”

Through this organizational integration, the specialized promoting units systematically and comprehensively plan and promote sustainable campus actions to achieve substantial results. 

The tasks include coordinating and facilitating the implementation of sustainability goals and strategies across units, establishing an open platform for smart campus construction, collecting and integrating sustainable data, promoting sustainability literacy on campus, and enhancing the University’s sustainability reputation externally.
