Stakeholders refer to internal and external organizational groups and individuals that have mutual influence on aspects such as administration, teaching and research, environment, society, and governance of Chung Yuan Christian University. By commissioning external experts to review the alignment of GRI general guideline indicators and referencing the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard and its five principles (Dependency, Accountability, Tension/Focus, Influence, Diverse Perspectives), seven main categories of stakeholders have been identified, including:
- Current students
- Parents of students
- Faculty and staff (including contract personnel and full-time research assistants)
- Alumni
- Employers
- Government agencies
- Community members Each stakeholder group’s concerns are understood, and effective communication channels are established to facilitate two-way communication and feedback, thereby promoting institutional progress.
