In response to the government’s green transportation policy, Chung Yuan Christian University encourages the use of public transportation. Through the Ministry of Transportation’s “Bus to Campus” project, Guoguang Passenger Transport runs 10 trips a day between Taipei and Chung Yuan.
Electric scooter charging stations have been set up on campus. To encourage faculty and students to ride electric scooters, charging service is also open to nearby residents, and a dedicated parking area has been set up for electric scooters.
A total of 90 shared bicycles have been introduced at the campus station.
There are 50 parking spaces designated for electric scooters.

These measures aim to reduce motorcycle use among faculty, students, and nearby residents, which in turn lowers accident casualties, traffic congestion, and carbon dioxide emissions.
