In line with the government’s plastic reduction policy, Chung Yuan Christian University has established a Plastic Reduction Policy and Practices to cut single-use plastics, reduce resource consumption and environmental pollution, and raise campus awareness of plastic reduction. The University actively supports the Ministry of Environment’s restrictions on disposable products and is phasing out single-use items in line with the Ministry of Education’s guidelines. Units are advised not to provide disposable tableware, bottled water, or single-use cups at meetings or events, and are encouraged to use alternatives such as reusable containers.
